Replacing & Changing Your Alexapure Pro Replacement Filter
- Remove The Lid from The Upper Chamber.
- Remove The Empty Upper Chamber, Steadying the Old Filter in One Hand.
- Reach Beneath the Filter and Remove the Wing Nut Holding the Unit in Place.
- Slide Out the Old Filter and Discard It.
- Remove The New Filter from Its Packaging.
- Unscrew The Plastic Wing Nut, Leaving the Washer in Place. (This Filter Is Packed in An Alcohol and Water Mixture to Ensure It Is Microbiologically Sterile.)
- Thread The Stem of The Filter Through One Of The Four Holes in The Floor of The Upper Chamber, Taking Care to Hold the Filter Straight.
- Secure The Filter Beneath by Replacing the Plastic Wing Nut.
- No Need to Pre-Prime Your New Filter; Your Alexapure Pro Is Ready to Use Right Away!
Care And Cleaning for Your Alexapure Pro Replacement Filter
The Alexapure Pro Genuine Replacement Filter Provides Long-Term Performance with Little Maintenance.
If You Notice Buildup on The Surface of The Ceramic Filter Shell, Carefully Remove the Filter. Use A Non-Abrasive Pad and Fresh Water—Without Soap—To Clean the Unit. Then, Put the Filter Back in Place.
Mineral Content in Untreated Water May Cause Mineral Buildup Along the Hybrid Ceramic Shell Protecting Your Filter. While This Does Not Impact the Water Filtration Process or Water Quality, You Can Clean the Filter’s Exterior If Desired.
Exercise Special Care When Removing the Filter from The Upper Chamber. Scrub The Filter’s Exterior with A Non-Abrasive Scrubbing Pad and Clean Water—Without Soap—Then Rinse Thoroughly and Replace in The Upper Chamber.
